Reducing Dental Anxieties
Visiting the dentist can cause a lot of anxiety. Trauma or pain from past experiences can be very triggering, or others around you can make it seem your planned dental treatment will have a horrible outcome.
When it comes to dental anxieties, we like to start by treating the brain with Acupressure techniques like tapping, or using Low Level Lasers on acupuncture points to soothe and calm the nervous system. For some, that is enough. For others, we do have the more traditional methods available, such as inhaled nitrous oxide, as well as sedative medications that can be taken by mouth.
