I have a toothache emergency, can I be seen?
Emergency time is reserved for existing patients who have been seen within the last year.
Comprehensive Assessment & Routine Cleanings
When joining our practice, you receive a comprehensive functional & oral exam. This initial appointment is foundational, establishing you as a patient, and helping us create a customized healing strategy.
Dr. Chang will ask questions pertaining to your nutrition, sleep, stress, and dental history. Necessary x-rays will be taken as a baseline and we encourage you to forward x-rays from your previous provider. As a comprehensive patient in our office, emergency appointments are available to you if needed and after-hours emergency calls are returned by Dr. Chang.
Our microscopic-enhanced cleanings investigate markers of dental disease and help you prevent the long-term effects of dental disease. Our hygienists use a high frequency sound wave tool called a Cavitron to clean teeth. These ultrasonic sound waves vibrate the dirt, tarter and plaque off your teeth. We also incorporate antibacterial rinses, ozone gas treatments, oral cancer screenings and bacteria testing. As a bonus, we strive to ensure that you’re completely comfortable through the entire cleaning process, offering blankets and pillows, TV, Netflix, heat and massage (if you like) in our chairs!
