The Live Well Team is made up of skilled and unique individuals. Here’s a quick peak at each of them so you’ll feel comfortable when you arrive.
The Administrative String
Regan chose dentistry after becoming a dental assistant right out of high school. She found her niche in the dental front office after five years as an assistant and has been up front ever since.
Early mornings and crisp fall days are two of Regans favorite things. She is a Seahawks fan through and through, appreciates good, roasted coffee and great mac-n-cheez. A year ago Regan made a major lifestyle shift and started eating healthier and committed herself to being fit. Now she is a fitness warrior and has never looked or felt so great!
San Diego was home before moving to Washington in 2006. She’s very proud of her son who received a NROTC scholarship to ASU. He worked really hard in high school and those efforts have paid off for him.
Regan’s list of to-do’s fits her personality; challenging and physical. She plans to hike part of the Pacific Crest Trail and is looking for willing friends to join her in this upcoming adventure.
Celia considers herself a Washingtonian but immigrated here after living in Europe and Egypt. English was her second language after speaking German as a child. She’s been in the medical/dental field for nearly 20 years after getting a degree in Communications. She landed there by accident but chose to stay because she loves it!
Celia is a lover of ethnic food( the spicier the better) and a sucker for quality chocolate ice cream with thick ribbons of peanut butter throughout. Her IPODS are full of an ecclectic mix of old time rock, indie folk, jazz and opera.
A memorable moment in her life was getting her endorsement and buying her motorcycle. She is proudest that, no matter what life throws at her (and there’s been a lot), she keeps on truckin’! As she moves forward, she hopes to pick up a guitar in the not too distant future.
Born and raised right here in the Pacific Northwest, Sara and her husband are the proud parents of three daughters. Three adorable girls the same age…triplets! Finding out she was pregnant with this amazing trio, tops her list as the most memorable moment in her life; imagine that!
Sara has two AA degrees, both earned locally. She was encouraged to pursue a career in the dental industry by her mom and the front office has been a perfect fit for her organized and outgoing personality.
Hot and spicy is how she likes her Thai food, and ice cream laced with peanut butter are among Sara’s list of “favorites.” When she can find a quiet moment she likes to read and she’s also a steadfast Seattle Seahawk fan. When asked what she’s most proud of, Sara quickly states, “her marriage.” She’s known her husband for 25 years and wisely says, “it hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been worth it.”
As life unfolds, Sara‘s life is sure to be rich and diverse. She intends to learn how to play the acoustic guitar and travel thru Europe; Ireland specifically. Since high school, the people, the pubs and the castles have been on her bucket list and she intends to check these off her list one by one.
The Assistant Crew
Kim started in dentistry as a way to care for others; that’s the kind of person she is. She’s been building relationships in the dental industry for 27 years!
Kim treasures her 3 dogs and 2 cats, which she lovingly refers to as her “fur babies.” Thai food and Chick-Flicks are also both thoroughly appreciated by her, as well as good old country music. She is most proud though, of her husband, and her children. Her husband served our country for 25 years in the Navy, and her kids are genuinely caring people, which makes her feel that they’ll be successful in navigating through the challenges of life.
Born in Washington, Kim began traveling after marrying her Navy man. They have lived all around Washington and California on many different Navy bases. She aspires to travel to other countries to provide dental care for children who can’t afford it.
Bonnie’s nurturing personality is what drew her to the dental field. She wanted a profession where she could make a difference for others.
Two smart, happy kids are what make Bonnie glow with pride. They bring her great joy and she loves being their mom. She was born in Washington and grew up in the Skagit Valley. Bonnie moved to Spokane to attend college and returned to the west side of the state to start her career.
Anyone who knows Bonnie knows two undeniable facts: She’s a major BON JOVI fan and, it’s all about the COUGS! Bonnie’s also an aficionado of great Italian cuisine and wine.
In the future, traveling more extensively through Europe, specifically Italy, France and Ireland are on Bonnie’s bucket list.
Independent and self-sufficient are two words to illustrate the strength of character of our assistant Stacey. She’s supported herself since the age of 17, including putting herself through dental assisting school. Stacey’s modest regarding the amount of “muster” it took for her to accomplish this because she’s got more plans in her future. She looks forward to traveling abroad to Iceland to view the spectacular Northern Lights and to Thailand to tour the cities of Bangkok and Phuket City.
Dentistry was an easy professional choice for Stacey because she interacts naturally with people. She was afraid of the dentist as a child, like so many, but has changed that fear into knowledge. She’s now at ease in the dental environment and has chosen healthcare so she can affect positive change in patients’ lives every day.
Stacey’s a real local Washingtonian; born in Seattle, she’s lived on and around Camano Island her whole life. She has an affinity for Mexican food (especially chimichangas), and rarely makes it through the day without Starbucks.
In her free time Stacey likes to rock climb and hike. She’s also been known to restore project cars with a certain someone special. The most memorable car was a “Right-Hand Drive, Skyline GTR”
The Hygiene Squad
Laura is a Washington native. She was born in Mt. Vernon and grew up on Camano Island on a small farm with a menagerie of small pets and farm animals. Her family, including her pets, have always given her a tremendous sense of pride and pleasure.
Originally headed toward a career in medicine or chiropractic, Laura has been in the dental industry for 20 years because she loves the relationships she builds with her patients.
Laura is a big time Seahawks and Mariners fan and classic rock-N-roll and country top her music charts. When she has free time, outdoor activities like hiking, camping, fishing and archery keep her busy.
A lifelong learner, Morgan chose hygiene after receiving two degrees in anthropology. Exploring archeological sites in the Andes mountains of Peru is an especially fond memory for her. The fascinating culture she encountered and the stunning scenery still astonish her today.
She moved to Washington in 2007 after being born in NY and being raised in North Carolina.
Morgan has an adventurous spirit and loves to travel, enjoys good Indian food and to spend time gardening. Other favorite things in her life… ANIMALS! Morgan has a sweet spot for her two playful cats and beautiful horses.
Future goals for Morgan include fulfilling her wanderlust by traveling the globe!
Hygiene is a second career for Sadie. After high school, she originally became a veterinary assistant. A true lover of all creatures, she particularly loves dogs because they come in so many sizes and personalities (just like people)! Returning to school as a more mature student, with two young childrenwas a challenge, as you can imagine, and it’s one of the things Sadie is most proud of. With the support of her husband and two daughters she was able to successfully complete the rigorous hygiene program and began a career in a field she’s excited about.
Washington has always been home to Sadie; she was born in Spokane but has spent most of her life in the greater Seattle area. Other loves include curling up with Stephen King, Harry Potter or any of the Narnia chronicles. Being an avid Star Wars fan rates right at the top of Sadie’s “favorites” list and she’s adamant that she doesn’t count the prequels; only the original trilogy. When it comes to food, Sadie and her husband love to eat sushi and Ahi poke; being locals, they’ve discovered all the best haunts in town, for these two delicacies. Sadie is actually a local celebrity of sorts…her most memorable moment landed her on the front page of the Herald when she gave birth to her youngest child on the side of the I-5 at milepost 186…Imagine, a celebrity in our ranks at Live Well Dental!
In the future, returning to and maybe someday teaching Hatha yoga is a goal of Sadie’s. Working on her backbend to one day touch the floor are motivators for her. Her acrobatics in the front seat of the car, delivering her baby, may have prepared her, by being nimble as well as calm by nature.
